By accessing or using PakSpeed, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access our internet speed test services or use the PakSpeed website/application.
PakSpeed is operated by WALI (WANG Lab of Innovation) and the Urdu AI development team as a public internet measurement and digital connectivity research platform. These terms apply to the website, speed test, dashboards, maps, rankings, guides, reports, feedback tools, and related pages.
PakSpeed provides a tool to measure your real-time internet connectivity metrics including Ping, Download, and Upload speeds. You agree to use this tool responsibly for personal testing or network diagnostic purposes. You may not use automated scripts or bots to spam the telemetry API or artificially skew our public network dashboards.
You may use PakSpeed for personal testing, educational work, journalism, civic research, public-interest analysis, and responsible comparison of internet service quality. You may link to public pages and cite them with attribution, provided you do not misrepresent PakSpeed results as official regulator data or guaranteed ISP performance.
You agree not to overload, attack, scrape, reverse engineer, bypass safeguards, submit false data, send malicious payloads, interfere with other users, or use PakSpeed in a way that harms the reliability of public measurements. You also agree not to submit private account details, passwords, payment information, identity documents, or other sensitive personal information through public forms.
PakSpeed may block, rate-limit, remove, aggregate, filter, or disregard tests and requests that appear to be abusive, automated, fraudulent, technically invalid, or likely to distort public dashboards.
By executing a speed test on PakSpeed, you agree that your anonymized speed metrics, ISP name, and localized geographic area (city-level location, or GPS coordinates if explicitly granted) will be transmitted to our Telemetry Database and may be publicly displayed on our Community Speed Maps and Analytics Dashboards. Raw IP addresses are not stored in the speed test database.
Public dashboards, maps, rankings, and reports may combine many tests, apply quality filters, round figures, remove outliers, or delay updates. These steps are used to improve reliability, reduce privacy risk, and avoid presenting one isolated test as a complete picture of a provider or city.
We do our best to ensure accurate speed test results by calculating large payload transfers to Edge CDN nodes. However, due to variables in Wi-Fi signal, device hardware, background apps, and local network congestion, we do not guarantee exact accuracy. Results are provided "As-Is" for general guidance.
PakSpeed results are community-contributed measurements. They are not official ISP billing records, contractual service guarantees, regulatory orders, or proof that a provider has violated a specific contract. Use results as one evidence point alongside your ISP plan, router condition, device quality, time of day, signal strength, and provider support records.
PakSpeed may publish aggregate findings about internet performance in Pakistan, including city-level, province-level, provider-level, and topic-specific summaries. Researchers, journalists, educators, civil society organizations, and policymakers may cite public pages when they preserve context and explain that the underlying evidence comes from community speed tests.
Do not present PakSpeed rankings or maps as a complete market audit, legal finding, or replacement for professional network engineering analysis. If you need a formal dataset, quote, or methodology explanation, contact PakSpeed before publishing high-stakes claims.
PakSpeed may display advertising or use third-party services for hosting, analytics, consent management, maps, fonts, security, content delivery, or site measurement. Third-party services may have their own terms and privacy practices. PakSpeed is not responsible for websites or services reached through external links.
Advertising must not be interpreted as endorsement of an ISP, device, package, or telecom product unless a page clearly says otherwise.
The service is provided on an "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
PakSpeed does not guarantee that the site will always be available, that every result will be free from error, that maps will include every area, or that a measured speed will match future performance on the same connection.
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, PakSpeed and its operators will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the service, reliance on speed test results, interruption of service, loss of data, or third-party links. Nothing in these terms limits rights that cannot legally be limited.
We reserve the right, at our sole discretion, to modify or replace these Terms at any time. We will try to provide at least 30 days notice prior to any new terms taking effect.
The updated date at the top of this page shows when the terms were last revised. Continued use of PakSpeed after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Islamabad, Pakistan.
