Before You File a PTA Complaint
Use this tool when your internet speed is repeatedly much lower than your subscribed package, latency is unusually high, or the issue continues after basic troubleshooting. PakSpeed helps you turn a speed test result into a clear complaint, but you should only submit real service problems with accurate details.
Evidence to Keep
- Run 2-3 tests at different times of day.
- Note your ISP, city, package speed, download, upload, and ping.
- Use WiFi near the router or ethernet when possible.
When It Helps
A formal complaint is useful when your ISP has not resolved repeated slow speed, high ping, packet loss, or long outages after support contact.
Privacy Note
PakSpeed does not store raw IP addresses. Your generated complaint stays in your browser until you copy or email it yourself.
Make Your Complaint Stronger
A useful complaint is specific, calm, and evidence-based. Instead of writing only "internet is slow," include the package you pay for, the speed you actually received, when the issue happens, and what steps you already took with your ISP.
Good Details
- Subscribed package or advertised speed.
- Measured download, upload, and ping.
- Date, time, city, and neighborhood if relevant.
- Whether the problem happens daily or only at night.
Check First
- Restart modem/router and test again.
- Move close to WiFi or use ethernet.
- Pause downloads, VPNs, and background apps.
- Compare peak and off-peak hours.
After You Submit
Save your complaint text, screenshots, ISP ticket number, and any reply you receive. If the issue continues, repeat the speed test and update your evidence.
PakSpeed is not PTA and is not your ISP. This page is a public-interest helper that prepares a complaint draft; you remain responsible for checking the facts and submitting it through the proper channel.
Complaint Readiness Checklist
Before escalating a case, try to separate a real provider problem from home-network issues. A weak Wi-Fi signal, crowded router channel, old device, VPN, background download, or shared connection can make a package look slower than it is. A stronger complaint explains what you tested and what you ruled out.
Run Better Tests
- Test once near the router or with ethernet.
- Test again during 7 PM to 11 PM peak hours.
- Repeat on another phone or laptop if available.
- Record download, upload, ping, date, and time.
Talk to Your ISP
Share your evidence with support before escalating. Ask for a ticket number, expected fix time, and whether your area has a known outage or congestion issue. Keep screenshots of replies or SMS updates.
Write Clearly
A good complaint avoids insults and guesses. It states the package, actual measured speed, how often the problem happens, what troubleshooting was done, and what resolution you are requesting.
Use PakSpeed as supporting evidence, not the only evidence. If the result is very different from your ISP package, collect multiple tests and compare with city or ISP averages before deciding whether to submit a formal complaint.
