Our Mission

PakSpeed was developed by the creative engineers at WANG and Urdu AI with a singular vision: to bring a beautiful, lightning-fast, and fully localized internet speed testing tool to Pakistan. We realized that existing global tools lacked proper Urdu translation and failed to give Pakistani users a centralized dashboard comparing local ISPs directly against one another.

Our Community Speed Map aims to create total transparency. By combining your real-world speed test results with geographically clustered data, we empower everyday consumers to answer questions like: "Is Zong really faster than Jazz in Lahore?" or "Should I switch to StormFiber in Karachi?"

How We Measure Internet Speed

The PakSpeed engine uses advanced Web Worker threading in your browser to download and upload large payloads directly from a geographically proximate Cloudflare Edge CDN node without choking your browser's main UI thread.

Understanding Your Results

• Ping (Latency): Measured in milliseconds (ms), this is a reaction time. A low ping (under 30ms) is excellent for competitive gaming and seamless Zoom video calls. A ping over 100ms indicates routing delays.
• Jitter: Jitter measures the variance in your Ping. A low jitter means your connection is very stable. High jitter causes "lag spikes" or pixelated video streams.
• Download Speed: Measured in Megabits per second (Mbps). This determines how quickly you can stream 4K YouTube videos, download heavy files, and load HD images on Instagram. Higher is better!
• Upload Speed: Also in Mbps. This is vital for content creators, remote workers uploading large attachments, or anyone actively broadcasting a live stream.
